The NW San Pedro Neighborhood Council includes Committees that study individual items in detail. Committee reports and recommendations are then brought before the full Council for consideration.

Any stakeholder interested in serving on one of these committees should submit their contact information to Board@NWSanPedro.org.

Meeting Times -

Board Meeting: Held the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM, Peck Park Conference Center.

Issues Committee: Meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in San Pedro City Hall, Fourth Floor. Check this page for details on Community Issues.

Port Issues (PCAC) Committee: Held the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM, 1911 N. Gaffey Street, Suite A. To view the most recent agenda, visit the Port of Los Angeles web page on PCAC.

C.O.P.S.S.: The Committee on Port Safety and Security (C.O.P.S.S) is a joint committee with three other Harbor Area Neighborhood Councils. Its mission is to ensure the safety of those who live and work in or near the Port of Los Angeles. (Visit the COPSS Web Site)

The Committee’s goals are to research what has been done, what is being done, and what needs to be done to secure the Port and safeguard the community; assist in the dissemination of this information to Harbor Area Stakeholders; promote accountability for safety and security among Port Management, City, County, State and Federal governmental bodies; and to create a sense of urgency by all concerned that this issue is a high priority to all Harbor Area Stakeholders.
